First Aid Certification

This First Aid course teaches basic first aid knowledge to give immediate assistance for anyone suffering from minor to serious illness or injuries. You will learn how to provide care, prevent patient from worsening, and promote recovery. Basic First Aid will include the following:
First Aid Basics & medical emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Breathing and cardiac emergencies (CPR, AED, choking)
Injuries (broken bones, burns, cuts, stings)
Sudden illnesses (heat/cold emergencies, allergic reactions

This course teaches CPR and how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies for adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatrics (infants and children up to 12 years of age), how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and how to care for a conscious and unconscious choking adult and child. This course is designed for individuals with little to no medical training, who need a CPR completion card to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

This Basic Life Support (BLS) course trains participants to respond in life saving emergencies using basic cardiovascular life support skills.
